Metroid - Confrontation

A sketch that was born last year, started coloring it. Got distracted for a few months, finally finished it. I'm very pleased with the result though. I took some risks I don't usually take with the coloring and I think it paid off pretty well. I want to do better with reflected light and atmosphere.

Anyway, Metroid/Samus are awesome, yo.

A lot of people askedf it was supposed to be the baby metroid from Super Metroid. When I drew it, it wasn't originally supposed to be like that, but just a random metroid that is intending on sucking Samus' face off, but you can interpret it however you wish! That's the great thing about art.
